Our company has a continuous, rising and proven course and experience of over 40 years in four key areas:
- Wholesale books, comics and magazines;
- Wholesale, import and distribution of varius consumer goods.
- Transportation to Greece - Cyprus – Europe;
- Manufacturing and marketing of condoms.
STERGIDIS Commercial & Transportation S.A. is a pure GREEK company that was founded as a private company in 1971 by Andrew and Margaret Stergides in Athens. Its purpose was trading, brokerage and distribution of books and magazines.
In 1981, having Cypriot origins and motivated by it, the company expanded its activities in Cyprus with the establishment of STERGIDES -STYLIANOY LTD.
In the same year, transport activities between Greece and Cyprus commenced, exporting and transferring products, as well as serving clients with all kinds of transport, facilitated with shipment and customs clearance services.
Along with the above, we managed to be the authorized dealer of Greek crafts clothing in Cyprus, committing ourselves to the entire export process.
In 1987 the company turned into a Commercial Exporting S.A. Company.
Since 1993, along with the maintenance of the existing activities, we are the authorized dealers of the condoms SURETEX factory in Greece and Cyprus, with the creation of the brand USEME, undertaking the manufacture and the supply of other companies, using their own brand name in Greece and Cyprus.
During the same period, the activities in the wholesale trade started to expand, importing many different kinds of small retail, which led to the enrichment and enlargement of the products’ variety.
In 2011 the company was renamed in Stergides Commercial & Transportation S.A. expanding services to many European counties!
